Weekly Whole School Assembly

Every Monday morning at 9.00am, our whole school meets together for an assembly in our School Hall to celebrate our student learning and achievements, together with the presentation of the class awards for the week. 
The assemblies are fun, with school singing and the sharing of class work.  Weekly Class Achievement and Values Awards are presented by the Principal.  We introduce our PB4lL schoolwide focus for the week. Our Head Boy and Head Girl announce the results of our weekly School House competition. Photos from this assembly are posted in our weekly School Newsletter and on our School Facebook page. Families and whanau are most welcome to join us. 

Gold Award Learning Celebrations

Our Gold Award Learning Celebrations Assemblies take place once a month, in the School Hall, on Mondays at 9am; instead place of the weekly whole school assembly. 

Our Principal, Ms Smith presents the Principal's Gold Awards certificate and badge to one student in every class.  These Gold Awards are to acknowledge and reward consistently excellent attitude, effort  and behaviour both in the classroom and in the playground.  The student from each class is selected by the teacher form the students who have earned 'THree in a Row' Letter home for their weekly class PB4L Dojo points. Sometimes speakers and performers come our Gold Award assemblies R. Learning Celebrations are also opportunities for singing and instrumental music, for reports from the Student Council and about on sports events and results.

Parents and caregivers of the Gold Award students receive a special invitaion to the assembly, family photographs are taken afterwards. Families and whanau are most welcome to join us for the assembly, followed by morning tea.
